The Rachidia, an association acting for the preservation of musical heritage, is located in a sumptuous historic monument, Dar Daouletli. Over time, the building had increasingly become a health hazard due to increased humidity levels. A monument situated in the heart of the Medina of Tunis, it was built in the 17^th century and is characterized by an architecture which employs refined materials accented with local, traditional features. The use of the classrooms in The Rachidia varies depending on the time of year. Indoors, music classes are given to children while the patio in the summertime often hosts concerts.  The lack of a climate control system started to impede on the musical activities of this artistic space, hence the intervention of KLF. The project consisted in equipping the Rachidia with a temperature conditioning system allowing controlled heating and cooling of the different spaces wtihin the building. The procedure took place in 2014 in collaboration with a team of engineers and architects and has allowed for the monument to be functional throughout the year.
