"L'indice d'une suite" (Index of a series) was an original collective exhibition that was designed between Paris and Tunis, which was presented in the Bardo National Museum from December 16th 2015 to January 14th 2016. Sponsored by the Kamel Lazaar Foundation, this event was initiated and produced by Kasbah Nova, an association that supports Tunisian artists and creation, through residencies programs and travelling exhibitions. Sabrina Issa, the curator of Glassbox Gallery presented the works of five Tunisian artists: Selim Ben Cheikh, Hela Lamine, Othmane Taleb, Ali Tnani and Rania Werda.
The Kasbah Nova art residency is devoted to the promotion of Tunisian young creation. On the occasion of its first edition and in collaboration with three young artists/curators from Glassbox Gallery, Kasbah Nova put together an exhibition entitled L'indice d'une suite. This art residency was launched in March 2014 and ended in Tunis in December 2015. L'indice d'une suite is the outcome of a close collaboration between artists and curators. This first residency, which focuses on the concept of Glassbox, questions issues of production, displacement, and more generally the exhibition project. The Kasbah Nova art residency also aims at giving a visibility to Tunisian artists, in Tunisia, France and beyond.
