Wided Zoghlami biography :
Wided Zoghlami was born in Tunis on January 6, 1985, daughter of a Belgian mother and a Tunisian-Sicilian father. After studying cinema at the Ecole des Arts et du Cinema (EDAC) in Tunis where she specialized in directing, she continued a fourth year at the Ecole International de Cinema et Réalisation (EICAR) in Paris. In 2007, Wided directed, in Paris, " Presqu'un plaisir ", a short film that will be screened in several festivals. Also in 2007, she began shooting her feature-length documentary entitled: "Fathallah TV - 10 ans et une révolution plus tard", a film that will take her more than 10 years to complete. At the same time, Wided worked as first assistant director on various projects. She also directed several music videos. In 2016, Wided became more and more interested in theatrical directing and acting. She then joined the Actors' School of the National Theatre of Tunis under the direction of Fadhel Jaibi. In 2019, "Fathallah TV - 10 ans et une révolution plus tard" was selected in official competition at the Carthage Film Days (CCC), as well as at several other festivals around the world.
"Fathallah TV - 10 ans et une révolution plus tard" won the "Golden Scorpion" award at the Tozeur International Film Festival in 2020. The theatrical release in Tunisia of "Fathallah TV - 10 ans et une révolution plus tard", initially scheduled for April 1, 2020, could not take place due to the Corona Virus pandemic and is currently scheduled for September 2020.
