Abdelkader BENCHAMMA (France, 1975) born to Algerian parents.
Lives and works in France.
He graduated from École Supérieure des Beaux-arts de Paris in 2003. His work is strongly influenced by theories of astrophysics and cosmology, as well as literature and theatre. Exploring natural forms using black marker pens, Benchamma’s ‘Sculpture’ drawings are reminiscent of mountainous horizons or landscapes but are never clearly defined as such.
Benchamma has exhibited in both solo and group shows in Europe and the Middle East and is represented by Gallery Isabelle Van Den Eynde in Dubai and Galerie du Jour in Paris.
