Badabada is a duo formed by Emad Lulu, an oud player from Gaza, Palestine and Milena Minta, a pianist from County Wexford, Ireland. badabada uses modern electronic music to infuse Irish traditional melodies and singing, Palestinian chants, Maqamat, free improvisation and dynamic electronic sound design, grounded in carefully selected samples that speak our subject matter: resistance.
