MÄA ELMOGHREB is an ongoing music project that promotes emerging talents in the local scene through live concerts and events at the B7L9 Art Station. Within this project, B7L9 is launching a call for participation in the MÄA ELMOGHREB programme for 2022, aimed at musicians of all genres.

Our goal is to allow for a greater number of artists to share the stage, perform and develop their work in a live setting, and to allow our music loving public to discover new emerging artists.

If you are a musician or part of a musical group/collective [based in Tunisia], this call is for you.

• The artist(s) must participate with their own musical production and composition – covers are not accepted.

• The artist(s) must have a repertoire that allows him/her to perform live for at least 30 minutes.

• The artistic quality of the project is the only criterion of selection.

The file must be sent by e-mail to the address: opencall@klf.tn (indicate in the subject your NAME / First name / Application musical programming MÄA ELMOGHREB 2022). It must include:

• A biography of 150 words maximum.

• A presentation of the musical project, description of the musical universe

• Links to video or audio clips

• Technical requirements of the performance

• A statement guaranteeing that the works presented are those of the candidate

• A visual of the project (optional)

If it is an ensemble/group, only one artist applies on behalf of all.

The artist(s) must:

• Be the author of the musical project they are proposing.

• Propose a performance of a minimum duration of 30 minutes

• The artistic quality of the project is the only selection criterion.

• The selection committee will be made by the artistic direction of the music department at B7L9.

• The deadline for applications is May 26, 2022.

• The next edition of MÄA ELMOGHREB will take place in July 2022.
