In November 2023, Aymen Boujlida and Omar Ouaer spontaneously created 'Garnita' during a week-long residency at B7L9, without any preparation.

Like artists on a blank canvas, the duo improvised, letting the music emerge inspired by the intelligence of the octopus, hence the Tunisian name. "Garnita' invites you to dive into the groove, exploring subdivisions, live electronics,

improvisation, harmony and Tunisian folk elements, celebrating genres such as jazz, funk, avant-garde and lo-fi. The music seeks to elicit physical responses while remaining authentic in its trance-like state.
