Presentation of the project :
At first, Saif didn't have the idea of making a movie. He led a normal life, accompanied by his camera, capturing moments of his daily life. He went to northern Portugal for two months to join his wife, who was about to give birth to her first daughter. He filmed the journey he made, the north of Portugal, the birth itself and his return to the south of Tunisia. With this film, Saif proposes to engage with the idea of narration through images and sound, which he lived and filmed, a narration that shows his perspective, his point of view. This vision is exclusively poetic, representing the borders between the South and the North, separated by the Sea, and the erasing of these borders by the Birth.
Saif Fradj biography :
Photographer and videographer. After joining the Faculty of Medicine in Sousse in 2008, he decided to convert to photography and the seventh art. In 2018, he presented his first exhibition of these photographic works entitled "Démolition" which took place in Elbirou Sousse and Art'com Marsa, then a second one in 2019, "Horizon immédiat" in Elbirou Sousse and at the Horizon Festival in Marseille, France.
Amal Barka biography :
Actress, senior technician in energy engineering and passionate about photography. She took music theory and guitar lessons at the Conservatoire Régional de Musique de Sousse between 2006 and 2012. She has participated in amateur theatre clubs since 2009 and founded the group AZAL in 2015. She decided to put an end to her studies in Energy Master to integrate the School of the Actor of the Tunisian National Theatre in 2017 to devote herself to professional theater training. In 2019, she joins the Higher School of Audiovisual and Cinema of Gammarth to continue her studies and integrate in the field of cinema.
