The idea is to bring art out into the street, even in the middle of a period of confinement, with strong messages. In the streets, reduced to silence, it is from now on the garbage cans, installations, digital graffiti and painting that will take the floor...
Behind the masks hides a collective of artists in Tunis. They are all graffiti artists, street artists or visual artists and have united to promote urban culture and street arts in Tunis and elsewhere. These graffiti artists met today to pass on messages during the crisis at the time of the coronavirus. These long-time graffiti artists have made a commitment to change the way people look at urban arts. To do so, they have chosen to come out of anonymity and make themselves accessible to the public. Today they put their talent at the service of all by painting frescoes everywhere, exhibitions, one way among others to change mentalities.
Through the means of social communication, the artists will propose their artistic approaches, tools and working methods through their social networks (Facebook, Twitter, Google plus, Pinterest, Flicker, Instagram, Youtube, etc.). In particular, they will aim to facilitate access to their works, to reach a new audience, to contact art market players and to establish a dialogue with novices in this field.
