Project presentation :
Conceived as a reflection on the overall psychological situation during the confinement, this video reflects the existential questions that went through this period. It illustrates the daily life, painting a critical portrait of the situation, including the tendency to reduce this surrealist period to mere numbers and statistics: how many today? How many new cases? How many deaths? How many people locked up? How many for how long?
The roof of the house, a symbol of freedom in this period of hell, becomes the filmic space, the workshop where the imagination opens up and other possible spaces are created. Beyond the video, Confinement Syndrome is also and perhaps above all, a body performance and a reflection on time.
