There is more than one way to be at the roundabout.
One is to go in circles,
one is to stand at the center and contemplate the motions,
and one is to drive through and forget that it ever happened.
What is the way forward? Where can we turn to? How do we reorient ourselves?
When at the roundabout, we have to make a turn somewhere, or go around once again.
This becomes a space for thought while moving, of possibility, and how to move ahead. We can arrive, or return.
Between December 2023 and January 2024, we present a programme of learning and workshops around the idea of embodied togetherness, listening, and sharing focused on this pivotal moment.
The idea behind this programme is around sharing tools and ideas to re-engage with our daily lives, and to imagine our ideal worlds.
The program aims to unite writers, artists, creatives, activists and students across the fields of arts, politics and humanities to participate in roundtables, group writing sessions, creative workshops, in a warm, friendly, and cooperative environment.
This initiative will serve as an experiment, a space for encounters and collective endeavors and a call towards unity and solidarity in the understanding that this is simply ‘what the way forward’ asks from us.
Program curated by Omar Khlif & Karim Sultan.
