As part of the cultural season kickoff, we are delighted to invite Tunisian artist Ghoula, who will be presenting his second album "Demi écrémé" for the first time in Tunisia. The album was launched in February 2023 in France.
With this second album, Ghoula remains steadfast in his unique and refined approach to sampling and showcasing North African musical heritage. His diverse style, ranging from electro-pop to techno, folk to IDM, stands out through the use of regional voice and instrument samples. Through his compositions, Ghoula conveys a sense of universal unity by employing samples from vintage vinyl records to communicate shared emotions, transcending cultural and linguistic barriers.
The album skillfully blends different musical elements, from the Mediterranean to electronic influences, reminiscent of movements like Acid House and Drum&Bass.
Ghoula invites us to a collective experience of serenity and unity beyond cultural differences.
