The exhibition The Turn, which was on display from March 17th to May 14th 2016 at the Kunstraum Niederoesterreich in Vienna, was supported by the Kamel Lazaar Foundation. It presented a selection of artistic projects, which took place in public spaces, in post-revolutionary Tunisia. It includes: Halim Karabibene's MNAMC, Moufida Fedhila's Super Tunisian, the Laaroussa projects and Dream City of Selma and Sofiane Ouissi, Faten Rouissi's de Colline en Colline and Bakchich System, Galerie Itinerrance's Djerbahood or Chronologie, from Patricia K. Triki and Christine Bruckbauer. As part of a conference, experts ranging from academics, politicians, artists, to cultural figures from Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Syria and Austria shared their experiences while questionning the sustainability and effectiveness of the projects undertaken in the region.
