Mouïn Moumni biography
Mouïn Moumni was born in Gafsa in 1991 and grew up in Tozeur. Scenographer, draftsman, actor and author, he studied space design and scenography at the Institute of Fine Arts in Sousse. Parallel to his studies, he created multiple street performances that he presents in several cities in Tunisia and abroad. He thus discovered the world of the theater. In 2011, he received the prize for best actor at the Theatre Festival of Fribourg in Switzerland before integrating, in 2014, the Actor's School at the Tunisian National Theatre and dedicating himself entirely to this discipline. We find him on stage in Violence(s) and Fear(s) by Fadhel Jaïbi and Jalila Baccar, Windows on ... by Raja Ben Ammar, Madame M and On la refait by Essia Jaïbi.
Presentation of the project : "Bapilone : une quête d'un monde parallèle"
There are other ways to get out of the house and break the containment. Starting by getting out of oneself, destroy one's shell, one's comfort zone. Deconstruct the walls that have been inflicted on us since our birth and go discover an elsewhere. Venturing into unknown places, getting lost, taking random paths. Discovering ourselves in a different way than by looking in a mirror. To stroll in this interior/exterior for a long time forsaken, pushed aside by lack of time, envy or courage. To titillate our deepest self so that it defies the laws of reality.
Loneliness, anxiety, fear, disarray, things get mixed up in the head of BALPA, a young man of solitary nature in search of an elsewhere. For him, the world is much richer than it seems. He almost never leaves his room but finds an escape, an adventure into strange, mystical and fabulous worlds... For in his almost empty, cold and gloomy room, things change: curtains fall, walls collapse, time stops or slows down, space explodes, builds and deconstructs, spreads out, expands into new forms of life that take shape in BALPA's eyes.
